We are the Whiskey Raccoons

 

We are Cara Schamburg (lead Vocalist) and John Pressley (Guitarist).

 

Whiskey Raccoons formed in 2014 and have played hundreds of gigs all over the greater Midwest USA since then!

 

We released our first original album in February 2017 and are releasing a number of singles as well as an EP in 2021. 

 

Although we mainly perform as an acoustic duo, we have written and performed a number of original songs with a full band. We define our sound as Americana as you'll see that we incorporate elements of roots-rock, country, blues and more into our various original tracks. 

 

We've performed at gigs throughout Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio and more! 

 

We've performed regularly in STL (our home base) at venues such as the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten, Augusta Winery, Bar Louis, Big Daddy's, Llewellyn's, Defiance Ridge Winery, Lake Creek Winery and the list goes on.
